Multi-media
As more television channels and recorded content
become available over the Internet, the question arises
of which device will we watch these on - TV, computer and/or
mobile? IPTV deliveries, such as those from
IBC today or via
Windows Media Centre, are scheduled to grow substantially
over the next ten years. While you can watch TV on your
computer, you cannot use your TV screen connected to your
computer to write a business proposal or work on a
spreadsheet as the resolution is too low on your TV and it
is also usually six to ten feet away, and this is even
without considering the problems of figuring out how to
connect the two devices. The Radius320 allows you to
have IPTV up alongside Word, Email and other applications.
Play Eve Online and Watch IPTV at the same time.
Gaming
Inevitably, we thought about gaming applications when we were
designing the Radius320 as more games are becoming
widescreen and multi-screen friendly, even without help from
devices like Matrox's Triple-Head-To-Go. We played
DOOM3 on the Radius320, and it was an overpowering experience. We have used Microsoft Flight Simulator X
on the Radius320, though Microsoft Flight Simulator is not really designed for
stretching one window across multiple screens as yet. Gamers
interested in multi-screen gaming should check out the
Widescreen
gaming forum for more information on
widescreen gaming issues. |
